    Gross weight exceeds 80,000 lbs — overweight permit required
  • Width
    Width exceeds 16' — route survey required
  • Height
    Height exceeds 16' — route survey required
  • Weight
    Gross weight exceeds 200,000 lbs — NMDOT special permit required

Fee notes

Single-trip $25 base + $0.04–$0.12/mile overweight. Annual $250. Superload (>14 ft H/W, >150,000 lbs) requires NMDOT route survey at cost.
