Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using RoadScope, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all terms, you may not use the platform.
2. Description of Service
RoadScope provides route intelligence and mapping tools for oversize/overweight (OS/OW) transportation operations. Features include route planning, POI management, survey tools, and professional reporting.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
4. Data Ownership
You retain ownership of all data you upload to RoadScope, including maps, POIs, routes, surveys, photos, and documents. RoadScope does not claim ownership of your content. You grant RoadScope a license to host and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the service for illegal purposes; (b) upload malicious content; (c) attempt to access other users' data without authorization; (d) reverse engineer the platform; (e) resell access without written permission; (f) use automated systems to access the service without authorization.
6. Payment Terms
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
7. Refund Policy
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for all new subscriptions. Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the initial payment. Refunds are processed within 5 business days. No refunds are provided after the 14-day period.
8. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time. RoadScope reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, you have 30 days to export your data.
9. Limitation of Liability
RoadScope is provided "as is" without warranties. RoadScope is not liable for: (a) route decisions made using the platform; (b) permit approval or denial; (c) regulatory compliance determinations; (d) equipment damage or accidents during transport. The platform provides information to support decision-making but does not replace professional judgment.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify RoadScope against claims arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.
11. Changes to Terms
RoadScope may modify these terms with 30 days notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
