  • Width
    Width exceeds 16' — route survey required
  • Height
    Height exceeds 15' — route survey required
  • Weight
    Gross weight exceeds 200,000 lbs — special multi-trip permit required

Fee notes

Single-trip $12 base. Annual $100. Overweight $3–$240 by tier. Superload (>15 ft wide, >132,000 lbs) requires NCDOT engineering review at $250+.
