The AI Analytics Advisor is an intelligent analysis layer built into RoadScope that works with your route and survey data to provide observations that improve route quality and documentation efficiency.

What the AI Advisor Does

*Constraint Pattern Analysis* - Identifies clusters of constraints along specific route segments - Flags constraint types that are disproportionate relative to route length - Highlights segments with high constraint density requiring attention

*Data Quality Checks* - Identifies POIs with missing critical data fields (measurements, photos) - Flags inconsistencies in constraint classification - Notes survey gaps (route segments without recent field verification)

*Permit Preparation Support* - Summarizes constraint types relevant to specific permit applications - Identifies jurisdiction crossings and applicable permit categories - Flags issues that commonly cause permit delays or rejections

*Route Risk Assessment* - Scores overall route complexity across clearance, grade, and geometry dimensions - Identifies the three highest-risk segments requiring special attention - Suggests POIs that should be field-verified before the move

Using the AI Advisor

The AI Advisor is available from the project toolbar. It analyzes current project data and returns a set of observations organized by category:

1. Open your project in RoadScope 2. Click the AI Advisor icon in the toolbar 3. Review observations by category (Data Quality, Constraints, Permit Prep, Risk) 4. Address flagged issues in the project data 5. Re-run the Advisor to confirm issues have been resolved

Limitations

The AI Advisor analyzes the data you have captured. It cannot identify constraints that were not surveyed. Use it to improve the quality of your existing data — not as a substitute for thorough field survey.
