NAV Live Dispatch turns the office map into a live operations console. Instead of emailing routes, calling drivers for status, and waiting for confirmation, dispatchers see every crew on a single map and push the current plan directly to the device in the cab.
Live Crew Presence
Every signed-in SolTecNAV user appears on the dispatch map with their live GPS position, name, current speed, and last-update timestamp. Markers refresh continuously while the device has signal and grey out gracefully when a connection is lost.
Pushing a Route to a Driver
**One-Click Send** — From any planned route, open the Dispatch menu and choose Send to NAV. Pick the driver from the active crew list. The route, POIs, clearances, and any attached Driver Briefing PDF arrive on the device instantly.
**In-Cab Acknowledgment** — The driver Accepts to switch to the new route, or Saves it for later. Acknowledgments are timestamped and recorded against the route record so dispatch always knows who has the current plan.
Field Notes & Comments
Drivers and surveyors can drop geotagged comments on POIs while in the field — flagging unexpected conditions, attaching photos, or noting completed checks. Comments appear in the office in real time and are written back to the project record.
Offline Resilience
NAV is a Progressive Web App with offline-first caching. If the driver loses signal, the most recent route, POIs, and Driver Briefing remain available on-device, and any field notes queue locally and sync when connectivity returns.
