Survey Scheduling Overview
RoadScope includes a built-in survey scheduling system that lets you plan field assignments, track progress, and coordinate multi-person survey teams across projects.
Creating a Survey Schedule
From any project, open the **Schedule** tab to create a new survey entry. Set the target date, estimated duration, and route segment to be covered.
Assigning Team Members
Each scheduled survey can be assigned to one or more team members. Assigned surveyors receive notifications and can access the survey brief directly from their mobile device.
Survey Status Tracking
- **Planned** — Scheduled but not yet started
- **In Progress** — Surveyor has checked in and is collecting data
- **Submitted** — Field data has been uploaded for review
- **Approved** — Data reviewed and integrated into the project
Timeline View
The Schedule calendar view shows all planned surveys across all projects, allowing managers to identify resource conflicts and coverage gaps before they become problems.
Integration with Survey Books
Each scheduled survey automatically creates a Survey Book entry when the surveyor checks in. All POIs collected during the scheduled window are linked to that Survey Book for traceability.
