Route Intelligence: Unlocking & Filtering Data

How to unlock bridge and clearance intelligence on a route or drawn area, and how to read Match / Excluded / Unknown verdicts.

What Route Intelligence Does

Route Intelligence overlays official infrastructure data โ€” bridges, posted clearances, rail crossings โ€” on your route or on an area you draw, and evaluates each structure against your load dimensions.

Unlocking Data on a Route

Select a route and run a Route Intelligence scan. Scans draw from your plan's data allowance; unlocked results stay attached to the survey so the whole team can review them without re-scanning.

Scanning a Map Area

No route yet? Position and zoom the map over the region you want to assess, then choose the Map area scan mode โ€” the visible viewport is scanned directly. Useful for early feasibility checks before committing to an alignment.

Dimension Filtering: Match / Excluded / Unknown

Enter your load dimensions to classify every structure three ways:

  • **Match** โ€” the structure is a potential constraint for your dimensions
  • **Excluded** โ€” the documented clearance safely exceeds your load
  • **Unknown** โ€” the source has no usable dimension data; verify in the field
  • Unknown is never silently treated as clear โ€” structures without data remain flagged for field verification.

    From Intelligence to Survey

Promote relevant structures to survey POIs so they enter your normal workflow: field verification, photos, inspection forms, and report inclusion.
