What Is the OS/OW Document Center?

The OS/OW Document Center is a project-level workspace where you store every supporting document a permit office, escort company, or driver might need: issued permits, jurisdictional regulations, route surveys, engineering letters, insurance certificates, and proof-of-clearance photos.

Folder Structure

Documents are organized into preset folders for the typical OS/OW workflow — **Permits**, **Regulations**, **Route Documentation**, **Engineering**, **Insurance**, and **Field Photos** — with the option to create custom folders per project.

Linking Documents to POIs and Routes

Any uploaded document can be linked to a specific POI (e.g., an engineering letter for a particular bridge) or to the route as a whole. Linked documents surface alongside the POI in the map view and in generated reports.

Regulations Library

The Document Center ships with the OS/OW Regulations System, which provides AI-summarized excerpts for jurisdictions along your route — what permits are required, dimensional thresholds, and movement-time restrictions.

Sharing with Drivers and Clients

Documents can be attached to Driver Briefing PDFs and Client Delivery Portal links so the right artifact reaches the right person without manual emailing.

Audit Trail

Every upload, replacement, and download is logged with the user, timestamp, and version label so you have a defensible record of what was provided to whom and when.
