Multi-Phase Tagging, Bulk Phase Switch & Phase Filter
Organize long-running projects into named phases and filter the map and reports by phase.
Why Phases?
Many heavy-haul projects are not single moves — they are multi-stage operations: pre-survey, validation survey, escort run, main move, and post-move documentation. Phase tagging lets you group POIs, routes, and documents by the phase they belong to so the project stays readable as it grows.
The Seven Phases
The ordered map workflow is Preplan → Book Survey → Road Survey → Needing Review → Transport Map → Driver Map → Shared Map. Routes and POIs have a current-phase dropdown for direct forward or backward changes and a separate next-phase arrow. Shared Map is terminal. Existing Shared Map records remain in Shared Map.
A phase label does not book a survey, grant technical approval, create a public link or change permissions. The map itself has an independent phase: changing it does not move existing routes or POIs.
Phase Filter — List and Map Together
Use All or any of the seven phases in the POIs or Routes panel. The filter narrows the lists, POI markers and rendered routes together. All is only a filter, never an assignable phase. Changes to an item are saved before its badge changes; a failed save shows an error.
Bulk Phase Switch
From a POI type group menu, choose Move to and the desired phase. Only visible, non-archived POIs in that group are affected. POIs in hidden regions or excluded by other filters stay where they are. Read-only users cannot change phases.
Phase-Scoped Sharing & Reports
Use Share phase to open Public Links with the current map phase selected, or Publish for client to configure a link separately. Review the content and explicitly create the link. New links may include any of the seven phases. Older scoped links retain their historical phase membership and do not silently gain new phases; region and visibility restrictions still apply.
