Why Phases?
Many heavy-haul projects are not single moves — they are multi-stage operations: pre-survey, validation survey, escort run, main move, and post-move documentation. Phase tagging lets you group POIs, routes, and documents by the phase they belong to so the project stays readable as it grows.
Tagging POIs with Phases
When you create or edit a POI, assign one or more phase tags from your project's phase list. POIs can belong to multiple phases (e.g., a critical bridge surveyed in Phase 1 that is also walked again in Phase 3).
Bulk Phase Switch
Select multiple POIs from the list view or by drawing a selection box on the map, then use **Bulk Phase Switch** to add, remove, or replace phase tags across the entire selection in one action.
Phase Filter on the Map
The **Phase Filter** dropdown above the map lets you show only POIs (and route segments) belonging to one or more selected phases. Use it to declutter during a single phase's field day, or to generate phase-specific reports.
Phase-Filtered Reports
When generating a Full Report, Driver Briefing, or POI Photo Report, you can scope the deliverable to a specific phase. Only POIs and routes tagged for that phase are included.
Managing the Phase List
Edit your project's phase list from **Project Settings > Phases**. Phases can be renamed, reordered, and color-coded. Renaming a phase updates every tagged item automatically.
