Supported Import Formats

RoadScope supports 15+ file formats including KML, KMZ, GPX, GeoJSON, CSV, XLSX/XLS, Shapefile, GeoTIFF, DXF, LandXML, VEH, PDF, XML, and MeasurePRO archives.

MeasurePRO Integration

If you use MeasurePRO for field surveys, RoadScope provides direct integration:

1. Export your survey as a ZIP archive from MeasurePRO

2. In RoadScope, go to Import > MeasurePRO

3. Upload the ZIP file — photos and measurements are automatically associated

CSV/Excel Import

For spreadsheet data, prepare your file with these columns:

• Latitude, Longitude (required)
• POI Type (optional, defaults to "Point")
• Description, Notes (optional)
• Clearance Height, Width (if applicable)

GPX/KML Routes

Import routes from GPS devices or mapping software:

• GPX files preserve waypoints and track data
• KML/KMZ files from Google Earth are supported

Validation & Cleanup

After import, RoadScope runs validation checks:

• Duplicate detection
• Coordinate verification
• Photo-to-POI association

Review flagged items before finalizing the import.
