Welcome to RoadScope
RoadScope is a professional route intelligence platform designed for OS/OW transport operations. This guide will help you create your first project and understand the core workflow.
Step 1: Create a Project
After signing in, click "New Project" from your dashboard. Give your project a descriptive name that identifies the route or client (e.g., "Wind Farm Alpha - Route Survey").
Step 2: Define Your Route
Use the map interface to draw your intended route. Click to add waypoints, or import a route from GPX/KML files. The route establishes the corridor you will survey.
Step 3: Add Points of Interest (POIs)
POIs are the foundation of route intelligence. As you survey the route, add POIs for:
- **Clearance Points** — Bridges, overpasses, utility crossings
- **Hazards** — Narrow lanes, tight turns, construction zones
- **Reference Points** — Mile markers, intersections, landmarks
Step 4: Document Constraints
For each POI, record the relevant measurements and observations. Upload photos to support your data. RoadScope automatically validates and organizes this information.
Step 5: Generate Reports
When your survey is complete, generate permit-ready reports from the Reports Hub. Choose from Quick Reports for internal use or Full Reports for permit applications.
