The Field App
The Field App is the mobile capture surface for survey crews. It runs in the browser on any phone — no installation — and focuses on fast structured capture: POIs, photos, measurements, and GPS tracks.
Task Queue
Project managers assign survey tasks from the office; crews see their queue in the Field App. Each task carries the route section, the POIs to verify or capture, and instructions. Completing a task syncs its captures back to the project and marks it done for the whole team.
Capturing POIs & Photos
Create POIs at your GPS position with type, measurements, and photos in a few taps. Photos are linked to the POI automatically. Measurements follow the same structured fields as the desktop app, so everything flows into reports without re-entry.
Offline Operation
Capture continues without signal: POIs and photos queue on the device and sync automatically when connectivity returns. The queue indicator shows what is still waiting to upload — keep the app open until it drains.
GPS Proximity Alerts
While driving a surveyed route, the app can alert you when approaching a constraint POI (low clearance, weight restriction), giving the crew time to verify or re-measure it.
