Connect Your Survey to Your AI Assistant
Give recipients read-only AI access to a survey โ scan a QR code from any report and ask questions in Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or Copilot.
What AI Survey Access Is
Every generated report ends with an "Ask this survey with your AI" block: a QR code, a short link of the form `roadscope.app/ai/โฆ`, and example questions tailored to the report type. Anyone who receives the report can open that link and connect the survey to their own AI assistant โ then ask questions like "What is the lowest clearance on this route?" in plain language and get answers grounded in the actual survey data.
Where the Access Link Appears
What the Recipient Sees
Opening the link shows a setup page with the survey name, a copyable Server URL and Access token, and step-by-step setup tabs for Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Copilot. Five example questions show what the assistant can answer. The QR code and link carry only a share identifier โ never the token itself.
Scope: Read-Only, This Survey Only
The access token is scoped to a single survey and is strictly read-only. The connected assistant can read POIs, measurements, routes, and report data for that survey โ it cannot modify anything, and it cannot see any other survey in your account. Limited-scope viewer shares (for example, a share restricted to one phase) never expose the AI access link.
Expiry & Revocation
Tokens are valid for 90 days; the setup page shows the exact "valid until" date. The survey owner can end access at any time โ once revoked or expired, the link shows a polite "access has ended" page instead of the token, and the recipient is told to ask the sender for a fresh link. Regenerating a report or export as the owner refreshes the access automatically.
