After the Survey
When you return from a 360° survey, the Camera-Bridge service uploads the captured frames to RoadScope. Processing begins automatically and typically completes within a few minutes for a standard survey.
Frame Extraction
Raw camera files are unpacked and individual frames are extracted at the configured resolution. Frames with poor GPS signal are flagged for review.
GPS Alignment
Each frame is matched to a GPS coordinate from the capture timestamp. For cameras without built-in GPS, alignment uses the Windows GPS device timestamps recorded by the Camera-Bridge.
Quality Review
Before publishing to the viewer, you can review the frame sequence for:
- Frames captured during stops (often blurry or redundant)
- GPS alignment gaps
- Camera orientation issues
Problematic frames can be excluded from the published sequence.
Publishing to the Viewer
Once you approve the sequence, click **Publish to Viewer**. The frames are compressed, sequenced, and made available in the route map viewer. The process typically takes 2-5 minutes.
Viewer Availability
Published 360° sequences are available in the project map viewer and in the Client Delivery Portal (if you choose to include them when generating the portal link).
